Bioinformatics Facility

High-Performance Computing (HPC) Workstation (Two Numbers)

  • Purpose: To run heavy bioinformatics analyses like genome assembly, molecular dynamics simulations, or large database searches.
  • Features:

    • GPU acceleration NVIDIA RTX A6000 for deep learning in genomics)
    • 10 TB SSD storage (fast reading/writing huge sequence files)
    • Linux-based operating system (Ubuntu/CentOS) with bioinformatics toolkits installed (e.g., GROMACS, BLAST, Bowtie, GATK, etc.)
  • High-end workstations (4 Numbers) with i9 14th Gen/512GB RAM/10Tb SSD/NVIDIA RTX5070 Graphics
  • Mid-end workstations (6 Numbers) with i9 12th gen/128gb RAM/5Tb SSD/NVIDIA RTX3070 Graphics

Microbiology

Our microbiology solutions are focused on developing innovative technologies for all stages of antimicrobial studies including design and development with following facilities 

 

Essential Work Areas

  • Laminar Flow Hood / Biosafety Cabinet (for sterile handling of samples)
  • Incubator (usually at 37°C for bacterial growth)
